Come Experience the Future (in a Friendly Way)

Libraries are really the last great public space we have. And this is the direction they should be going in. The broadening of their collection to include technology not only expands libraries’ audience and value but introduces otherwise sheltered citizens to the (sometimes frightening) life changing possibilities of technology in a safe space. Or, as the article puts it, “It allows people to experience the future so it doesn’t feel so intimidating.”
