ABOUT DEPARTMENT OF HERE

We started Department of Here premised on the idea that well-defined places and communities are critical to maintaining social fabric. Our mission is to bolster those communities wherever they exist, whether it’s around governments, companies, or nonprofits. We work to define their identity, connect them to their communities, and contribute to their renaissance.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
four-tenets

Community is key to identity.

And identity is key to feeling connected.

All relationships are a two-way street.

Looking to connect more deeply with your audience? Ask something of them. Durable friendships entail nonstop give and take.
The same goes for business.

A chaotic world makes people hungrier for meaning.

Learn about your audience and find a way to add fulfillment to their lives, be it through
rituals, stories, or partnerships.

Everything you do is a way to communicate who you are.

You have more communications tools at your disposal than you realize
