The Bat Signal Arrives

This is like a bat signal for Department of Here. The cities that are home to the closing GM plants are having to completely re-think who they are. For so long their personality has revolved around manufacturing cars and the parts that go with them. With the factories shuttering, they have an opportunity to drill down and identify who they are as a community and to make proactive decisions about how to move forward.

Also, very interesting to view these factory closures as the flip side of the coin to Amazon's HQ2.
